What Is the Thrombophilia Package?

The thrombophilia package includes tests that evaluate inherited and/or acquired factors associated with a tendency to blood clotting.

For people with a previous history of blood clots or a family history of an inherited clotting disorder, the need for testing may be assessed by a physician. It is not recommended as a routine screening test for everyone; recurrent pregnancy loss alone may not mean that testing is needed.
