Molecular Biologist

Gizem Kadıoğlu is a Molecular Biology and Genetics graduate of Başkent University. With experience in biochemistry, microbiology and genetics, Gizem has worked as a molecular biologist at Wellcare Laboratories since 2026.

Born in Cyprus on 20 April 2002. Graduated from 19 Mayıs Turkish Maarif College in 2020. Completed the bachelor's degree in the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics at Başkent University in 2024, with a focus on stem cell biology. Attended the VI. Biotechnology Student Summit organized by the Turkish Biotechnology Association and the 18th International Winter School of Molecular Biology and Genetics organized by the Istanbul University Genetics Club. 


In 2023, did an internship at Kolan British Hospital in biochemistry, microbiology and genetics. Began the career at Varış Medical Center in 2025, and since 2026 has been working as a molecular biologist at our institution, Wellcare Laboratories.
