Dr. Mert Sanıl
Born in Lefkoşa, Mert Sanıl completed his middle school and high school education at Lefkoşa Türk Maarif College. Between 2004-2008, he received his undergraduate education in Biochemistry at the University of Liverpool. In 2010, he completed his master's degree in Clinical Biochemistry at the University of Surrey. Between 2014-2016, he completed his second master's degree in Infectious Diseases at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and is currently pursuing his doctoral education in the Health Management Department at Lefke European University.
After returning to the island in 2011, he completed his mandatory military service. Later, after working for two years in the medical analysis laboratory biochemistry department of a private hospital in Lefkoşa, he established the medical analysis laboratory of the same hospital's branch in Girne and served as the biochemistry manager of this laboratory between 2014-2016.
In 2016, he co-founded Wellcare Laboratories Ltd. In 2017, he became a co-founder of the medical analysis laboratory within Medical Port Hospital operating in Girne. In 2019, he became a founding partner of the medical analysis laboratory within Miracle Hospital operating in Lefkoşa and currently serves as the biochemistry manager and company director in these laboratories established within these two private hospitals.
